Faith must include reason to be balanced and informed.
The Good Book Group
This is a monthy meeting of 20 or so who gather in the C of E Primary School adjacent to the church in Compton Street. We learn about, question and discuss a book, a chapter or a section of the bible. We are certainly not precious or pious in our questioning and examination of what we have received as scripture, looking for new ways to understand, or accept we cannot understand, the words of a biblical author.
Lent and ad hoc study groups
Every Lent we hold study groups to discuss some aspect of our faith and its practice. Often we use film, or audio, to lead us into some contemporary issue or ethical problem.
