Sunday Services

Following the publication of the Church of England guidelines for conducting communion services the wardens and I have decided to return to the pattern of principle service times we used previously which means that communion services will recommence.

For the foreseeable future, communion will need to be offered only in one part, ie, the bread, with the chalice covered until the distribution and procedures will be put in place to distribute communion without queuing.

We will continue to follow the guidelines for social distancing and hand hygiene although we cannot guarantee anyone’s complete safety.

It must be said that it is still the advice from the government and the Church of England that anyone in a vulnerable group, e.g., over 70 years of age, or having a pre-existing condition, should not attend gatherings of people, including church services.
