Hursley Hub Cafe

The next Hursley Cafe will be held on Saturday 23rd February from 9 a.m until 12 noon in All Saints’ Church, Hursley.  Everyone will receive a warm welcome.  Come and join us for bacon rolls, tea and coffee..

Change for Change

The Change for Change buckets will be collecting small change in Church on Sunday 3rd and Sunday 10th February. The money collected goes to our mission partners and this time monies donated will be given to the church in Myanmar.

The Good Book Group

The group will recommence meeting on the first Wednesday of each month on Wednesday 6th February at 8 pm.  We meet in the Hall at Compton All Saints Primary School, Compton Street,

The next meeting will be the first in a series of looking at the Gospel of Mark in detail to discover why the Gospel has been called a ‘manifesto of radical discipleship’. We begin with Mark 1-3.

Coffee morning

The next St. Matthew’s coffee morning will be held on Monday 4th February at 10.00 a.m. in St.Matthew’s Church Room.  The monies raised will be donated to Hampshire Air Ambulance.  Everyone is welcome for coffee, cakes and biscuits.

Nine Lessons and Carols

The service will be held on Sunday 16th December at 5.30 pm in All Saints’ Church, Compton and will be followed with coffee and mince pies.

Carols around the Christmas tree

Otterbourne Village Hall will again be holding their annual Carols around the Christmas tree.  This year, it will be held on Tuesday 18th December at 7 pm.  Everyone is most welcome to join in.

Hursley tree festival

Come and join us on Saturday 15th December between 11 am – 4 pm in All Saints’ Church, Hursley for a day of fun.  Our theme this year is Christmas hits.  Vote for your favourite tree and enjoy the festive atmosphere.  We will b offering hot dogs and soup at our community cafe as well as the usual drinks and cakes.

Come and enjoy stalls, games, musical entertainment and children’s arts and crafts. Richard Baker will also be selling his Finnish candles outside the church again.  Tell your friends and family and make a day of it or pop in when you can.

The Good Book Group

The next Good Book Group meeting will be held on Wednesday 5th December at 8 pm at Compton Primary School. We shall be discussing St. Matthew, chapters 1-2, his telling of the birth of Jesus, and why Matthew’s version is different from Luke’s.
