Just three more Sundays to go until we (hopefully) will be able to worship in our churches again. In the meantime, our Sunday service for the Second Sunday before Advent can be found on the Benefice Services page. We are also offering a 10am Zoom version of this service and a 5pm Zoom evening service…

A Morning Service for Remembrance Sunday will be made available , both as a video service through YouTube, as in the first period of lockdown, and as text with imbedded hymns and can be found by clicking on the Benefice Service heading above. We intend to carry on with our usual services for Remembrance on the assumption that given current congregation numbers we can cope with the small increase that we have on Remembrance Sunday. The Act of Remembrance at the memorials will also go ahead as normal, though people will be asked to keep in their family groups, distanced from others and wearing their masks….

The annual Memorial Service will be held at 6 pm on Sunday 1st November. in St. Matthew’s Church, Otterbourne . There will be a Holy Communion service at 10 am this morning at All Saints’ Church, Compton. Everyone is welcome to join us. We follow the guidelines for social distancing and hand hygiene in accordance with government guidelines including the mandatory wearing of face coverings in places of worship..

There will be a Holy Communion Service at 10 am on Wednesday 16th September at All Saints’ Church, Compton. This service will continue to be held on the third Wednesday of each month adhering to the guidelines and advice from the government and the Church of England relating to COVID 19.

The new guidance from the C of E’s House of Bishop’s Recovery Group now allows a small choir to sing in Church although, congregations are still at this time not permitted to sing as part of worship.
