We are pleased to be able to hold our usual Acts of Remembrance across the Benefice on Sunday 8th November.
There will be an Act of Remembrance at the Otterbourne War Memorial starting at 10:50 am.
Acts of Remembrance will also be held on Shawford Down, beginning at the Wooden Cross at 12.15 pm and will then move across to lay wreaths at the Wayside Cross.
Hursley’s Act of Remembrance will take place at 10.50 am at the Memorial.
There will be no church services, in line with Government guidance.
People planning to attend any of these Acts should first refer to the Government Guidance that has been sent to Local Authorities concerning this year’s event, and attendance at it. People will be asked to keep in their own family groups or with those in their support ‘bubble’ or individually with one other person and be distanced from others and wearing their masks – it is important that people do not gather too closely together.
